Your Dream of Homeownership Could Become a RealityLaGrange County Habitat for Humanity believes everyone deserves a safe, decent, and affordable place to call home. Through our Partner Family Program, qualified families have the opportunity to purchase a newly built home with an affordable mortgage while working alongside volunteers and investing in their future.We are now accepting applications for our next Habitat home—a 3-bedroom home located at 7720 S SR 3, South Milford, Indiana, with an anticipated completion date of May 2027.

Habitat for Humanity does not give away homes.
Families selected for the program partner with Habitat by completing sweat equity hours, participating in homeowner education classes, and purchasing their home through an affordable mortgage. This partnership helps families build stability while creating a strong foundation for future generations.
Who Can Apply?
To be considered, applicants should:
Live or have children that attend school in LaGrange County.
Demonstrate a need for safe, affordable housing.
Meet Habitat income eligibility guidelines.
Be willing to partner with Habitat by completing required sweat equity hours.
Have the ability to repay an affordable mortgage.
Every application is reviewed fairly and confidentially.
What Happens After I Apply?
Once applications are submitted, Habitat volunteers will:
Review all completed applications.
Verify eligibility requirements.
Conduct home visits and interviews.
Select the Partner Family using Habitat's established selection criteria.
Applicants will be notified throughout the selection process.
